The Marfa Rotary Club’s annual Cinco de Mayo Festival at the Presidio County Courthouse was a community and service-centric success. Chicken Bingo, a dunking booth, cascarones wars,  delicious burgers, and a very special Cinco de Mayo performance from David Beebe and Primo Carrasco were some of the highlights of the day. Only Marfa vendors were featured and donations of food, clothes, and toys were accepted for the Casa Hogar Orphanage in Ojinaga through Boyz2Men taco trailer. Alpine celebrated its 21rst annual Cinco de Mayo festival this year with live music, dancing, a parade, food, games, traditional folkloric dancing, and more.
