Until recently, many observers were proclaiming the death of the Permian Basin oil industry. But others have stayed the course, confident that the marriage of technology and skill could still produce significant quantities of oil. One of the pillars of both the oil industry and the community-at-large is Jim Henry. He’s recognized for his remarkable skills in identifying potential sources of oil and as an agent of positive change in the community. Lorne Matalon reports from Midland.
