Citywide water in Marfa is scheduled to be shut off this morning beginning at 8:30 am.
The city says the water will be turned back on when work is finished for the day, but there's no set time for when that will be.
Water is being shut off for repairs and maintenance, work the city says is part of a valve replacement project that's expected to last several months.
Residents of Marfa are reminded to have a stockpile of water supplies ready for tomorrow's shutoff, and to pour water into toilets when flushing while the water off.
The city says not pouring water into toilets while flushing is likely what caused problems with Monday's repairs and led to delays.
