Across the Big Bend and Davis Mountains region, drivers are experiencing icy and snowy road conditions this morning, especially in Alpine, south of Alpine off of 118, and in the communities surrounding Fort Davis.
Sul Ross State University and Alpine ISD will delay opening until 10 AM today, and Marfa ISD will run buses from 8-8:15 AM. KRTS urges everyone to be safe on the roads today.
Additionally, McDonald Observatory will be closed until at least noon today.
