Regional six-man postseason football continues this weekend, with the undefeated 12-0 Grandfalls-Royalty Cowboys and the 10-2 Balmorhea Bears meeting up Kermit tonight (Friday, November 30.)
The 11-1 Rankin Red Devils, the only other six-man team from the greater Trans Pecos and Permian Basin region to last this long into postseason play, will head to Tiger Stadium in Snyder, TX to take on the 11-1 Throckmorton Greyhounds.
The 2012 Marfa Shorthorns basketball season continues on Friday with varsity girls and boys tournaments in Marfa. Alpine Fightin' Bucks boys basketball continues with the Brian Wilson Memorial Tournament in Alpine Friday and Saturday, while the girls team travels to Denver City, TX for a weekend tournament.
