On Wednesday (March 19), KRTS News spoke with Bill Davenport, the editor of Glasstire, an online magazine of visual arts based in Texas. The magazinebroke the news that a suspect had been arrested in connection with the defacement of Prada Marfa earlier this month. Joe Magnano of Waco was arrested on charges of criminal mischief on Tuesday.

Davenport spoke about the distinction between art and vandalism, the practice of re-appropriating the work of other artists, and the concept of breaking news in the art world. Glasstire has examined other aspects of the Prada Marfa case.

The founder of Glasstire, Rainey Knudson, will be interviewed on the Talk At Ten radio program in Marfa on March 28.
