So What’s Up With The Unaccounted $30 Million in the City of Alpine Budget?

Earlier this week, CBS 7 News reported that the city of Alpine was unable to account for $30.2 million in its budget. This followed a contentious City Council meeting on Tuesday. Pattison and Rangra, along with Councilperson Michael Castelli, explained that the credits and debits do not balance because of the city’s transition into new accounting and bookkeeping software.
