Midland Sheriff Gary Painter Unexpectedly Dies At 72

By Mitch Borden Over the holiday weekend, longtime Midland County Sheriff Gary Painter died. Painter was found unresponsive early Sunday morning in his home. Emergency personnel attempted to revive him — but were unsuccessful.
