Recent rains have brought some relief to West Texas. Reservoir levels are higher but experts say that waiting for rain is no longer enough. With no room for new reservoirs, the Colorado River Municipal Water District is looking into new water resources. In Big Spring, the water district opened a new wastewater treatment plant last month. It’s cleaning up sewage water and putting it back into the municipal water system from Odessa to Snyder. Megan Detrie reports.
