The Solitario

Big Bend Ranch State Park contains geology that reflects the history of the broader region. Arguably the crown jewel of Trans-Pecos geologic history is the Solitario. The name says it all - Solitario - the Spanish word for lonely. And lonely it is. It's an isolated feature that's a challenge to explore.
