Position Overview: The Office Manager is the essential position at our station for ensuring the continuous, effective operation of our office. It is a detail-oriented position that requires anticipating the needs of our station to function at its best. Because our station is a public service, the position requires people skills to interface with listeners, members, and our neighbors.
Specific Duties include:
- Answering the station telephone and checking station voicemail
- Paying bills on time and entering transactions in Quickbooks
- Invoicing underwriters and receiving payment on time
- Creating and deliver bank deposits with supervision from GM
- Receive and distribute mail
- Maintain physical station through coordinating cleaning and maintenance as needed
- Maintain records and data for membership and business
- Some Human Resource responsibilities including maintaining personnel files and associated paperwork
- Managing insurance policies to be up to date
- Maintain FCC compliance through the public file
- Manage online store, as well as inventory and tracking purchases
- Provide administrative assistance to the General Manager and Director of Development including, but not limited to maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and providing other clerical duties as assigned
- Serve as the main point of contact in the scheduling and coordination of Board of Directors, Community Advisory Board and Committee meetings.
- Other duties as needed
- Manage/maintain/order office supply inventory
- Maintain Petty Cash box
