Listen to Talk At Ten on Wednesday at 10 AM and 6:30 PM to hear about The Universal Record Database, founded by Dan Rollman.
After the morning interview, you'll learn how the staff at Marfa Public Radio battled over the world record for Fastest Time To Open A New CD. The record was established by Classical Music Host Roseland Klein. It was broken 2 days later by Office Manager Anne Adkins.
Then, it was broken 3 days later by General Manager Tom Michael. A few hours later, Programming & Production Manager Rachel Lindley improved the time. But it was KRTS Intern Rachel Neel who toppled us all; she is the current World Record holder.
We say "Congratulations" to Miss Neel and we say "Make It Easier" to CD manufacturers. Listen to Talk At Ten on Wednesday at 10 AM for the full story.
