Low relative humidity and windy, hot weather has affected much of West Texas this past week. There is still a Red Flag Fire Weather warning forecasted for our region.

The focus of operations in the Rock House Fire are currently west of Highway 17, south of Boy Scout Camp Road, south of Million Dollar Canyon, east of Little Aguya Canyon, and north of McDonald Observatory and Limpia Crossing.

The fire size estimates continue to fluctuate slightly, but today's official estimate is 182,000 acres and 65% containment.
