Late Saturday afternoon, Fort Davis lost their electricity. Marathon and Valentine also went dark. Areas outside of Alpine were also without power.

We spoke with Marfa Mayor Dan Dunlap, Presidio County Judge Paul Hunt, saloon owner Ty Mitchell, hotel manager Vicki Barge, bank employee Rudy Scott, and representatives from AEP Texas.
Marfa, Marathon, and Presidio regained power on Monday afternoon. Areas south and west of Alpine were still without power; so was Fort Davis, where concerns remained about the availability of water.
