Presidio County’s recently-appointed Auditor - Rick Herrman of Ft Davis - presented his initial report Tuesday on the county's finances at a commissioner's meeting.
The takeaway is that the county’s annual budget of just under $5 million is at least $250,000 short.
Lorne Matalon asked Herrman about the possibility that stresses on the budget may force the county to cut jobs.
