KXWT

KXWT is a listener-supported public radio station in Midland/Odessa, Texas, that is the NPR affiliate in the Permian Basin. The station was formerly known as KOCV. On December 8, 2011, Marfa Public Radio purchased KOCV (91.3 FM) from Odessa College. Since September 1, 2011 the station was operated by Marfa Public Radio under a management agreement with the college. In the Spring 2012, Marfa Public Radio relaunched KXWT 91.3 FM with a new programming schedule, and at a new transmitting site. The new transmitter allows the station  to provide reliable coverage for both cities of Odessa and Midland.
