Marfa Public Radio is currently accepting applications for Summer & Fall Interns. Interns at Marfa Public Radio have a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in many areas of public radio operations, including (but not limited to) audio production and engineering, broadcast announcing, non-profit development strategies, public media content creation and broadcast technology. Interns participate in a full-time work week, and assist with everything from basic daily operations to unique programming events, such as fundraising drives and regional news coverage.
Opportunities for semester-long special projects may also be discussed. College students and recent graduates are preferred, but high school students will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Internships are no longer provided. Instead, Marfa Public Radio provides individual housing conveniently located to the station.
