Jeff Mangum is the frontman of the former band Neutral Milk Hotel and other Indie rock acts from Louisiana that were influential in the 1990s. As a guest of Ballroom Marfa, he is performing two shows in Marfa, at the Crowley Theater, on Sunday evening, Easter. The first show sold-out very quickly, so a second was added - a rarity for bands performing here.
The music of Neutral Milk Hotel will be featured Saturday night at 6PM for a KRTS Special hosted by Tom Michael, one of the DJs with the Tuesday night Indie Kitty alternative rock program.
