November 1 is Día de Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, a ritual celebrated across Mexico and on this side of the border as well. A celebration this past Sunday co-hosted by Blackwell School Alliance and the Chinati Foundation brought Big Bend residents to Marfa to learn about this vibrant tradition by bringing photos and memorabilia of deceased loved ones to place to a community altar. The story from Lorne Matalon.
