Join KRTS staff, interns, and volunteers for the KRTS Charity Breakfast on Sunday, September 30, from 8 AM to Noon, at El Cosmico in Marfa TX.
For your charitable $10, you'll enjoy delicious morning food from great Texas restaurants. There will be pancakes from Lou Lambert, game sausages by Frank, a cuppa coffee from Jo's Coffee, and even Bloody Mary's with Tito's Vodka. Marfa Public Radio DJs will be flipping flapjacks and slinging sausages, while El Cosmico musicians play live for your dining pleasure. All are welcome.
It's a great way to cap a full weekend of music and entertainment from the annual Trans-Pecos Gathering of Music + Love, which begins Thursday, September 27. Many of the musicians will be making their way into the KRTS studios for the interview program Talk At Ten, so listen this week for a festival preview.
