The second season of West Texas Investors Club launches Tuesday (June 7) on CNBC, hosted by Rooster McConaughey and Butch Gilliam. Similar to the TV program Shark Tank, Rooster & Butch listen to a group of entrepreneurs each episode and then decide to invest in one of their business plans.
We recently sat down at their Permian Basin offices to preview the second season and to learn what West Texan investors have learned during the booms and busts of the oil industry in Midland & Odessa. Rooster & Butch share their folksy wisdom about finances and life.
